NYC: HOTEL GIRAFFE

Last week I finally got to to spend a few days in NYC. I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Giraffe, and I loved everything about this place.  First of all, I want to point out that the location of this hotel could not be more convenient. It's located on the corner of Park Avenue South and 26th Street - close to the subway, and just a few minutes away from Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building. Despite its central location, the hotel is very quiet and has calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was extraordinarily polite and welcoming - they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was very spacious, with a living room area and a separate bedroom. And the bed was so comfortable that I found it extremely difficult to climb out of it in the morning. Hotel Giraffe is a perfect place to get a good night’s rest after a day full of walking around and exploring the city.

My two favorite things about the Hotel Giraffe are the lovely open rooftop garden, and the complimentary wine and cheese served every evening from 5-8pm. My husband and I grabbed our drinks and went up to the roof where we could enjoy the beautiful views, drinking prosecco and relaxing before heading out for dinner.

The Hotel also offers a continental breakfast with a great selection. My favorites were the fruit and fresh croissants which I enjoyed in bed wearing a soft, comfortable robe and drinking my morning coffee. What a great way to start a busy day in the city. Overall, I could not have imagined a better place to spend a few days in Manhattan. Would love to come back here again!
